Design
The sustainable dogi for aikidoka ideal for travelling or hot weather: jacket without back seam. Short sleeves. Great freedom of movement. Breast ribbon hidden inside on the left side to hold the jacket tight. Pants with double lining from above the knees downwards for smooth suwariwaza. Carefully designed with a lot of love for details.
Fabric
This lightweight uniform with a jacket made from cotton waffle fabric is ideal for travelling or hot weather. Waffle fabric, also called honeycomb fabric, is a very light (222 g/m2; 6,5oz), very absorbent, quick drying, robust but very soft fabric. All creamy white organic cotton for a premium appearance and a high fabric quality.
Elastic waistband pants
The standard aikido Gi comes with drawstring waistband. We also offer pants with an elastic waistband. If you prefer theses, please check if your size is available and write an according order note (after entering your address).

Delivery
Our stock is in Switzerland. We ship once a week on Mondays to clients in Switzerland (PostPac Economy). If you need urgent delivery, please whatsapp us (076 760 65 25).

Sizes
Our size system takes into account your body height and also your body shape. You don't need to fit into your dogi, your dogi shall fit to you.
We offer different dogi sizes for a perfect fit

How to select your size
Select the body height and body shape that is the closest to yours. If a uniform usually fits well, you can go for a medium size. Pants length is perfect for practitioners wearing no hakama. If you wear a hakama, you might prefer shorter pants: simply select a shorter size. Shrinkage has been taken into account by us during production. You don't need to select a larger size than yours. If you are not sure which one to select, you can proceed in three ways:

2. Measure your body circumference
Measure your largest body circumference (around your
chest, your waist or your hips. Ideally, ask a friend to measure you. If you have no measuring tape, you can use your aikido belt and measure the length with a ruler). Now, make folllowing little math exercise: (your max. body circumference +6cm) /2 = .... The result is your (minimal) pants/jacket width. For example, if your hips are 94cm. 94+6=100. 100/2=50. You can go for a size "170 cm slim" jacket. To fit under your hakama, choose size "160 cm slim" pants. If you have a short upper body and long legs, you may chose a shorter jacket and longer pants.
